Telefónica is one of the largest telecommunications companies in the world. In 2008, the company reorganized its 14,000 employees into a unique headquarter campus in Madrid. Known as the “City of the Communications”, the campus included 15 buildings totaling 390,000 square meters and 6,000 parking spaces. 

The complete site is covered by a unique glass system consisting of glass panels and solar panels, making it one of the largest solar panel surfaces in Europe.
